However, the judge rejected this assertion due to the absence of any formal request for a change in venue. Following his incarceration on June 2, Davis criticized the judge while behind bars, instead of taking responsibility for his actions.
He therefore spent 44 days behind bars, and was released on the 14th of July 2023.
